The album and campaign photography for the latest shot by Ahmed Klink under the creative direction of Shira Inbar and David Byrne -- won big at the CLIOS. The Deluxe LP album packaging was the only entry recognized as GOLD winner while the mixed media campaign won a silver.
Iron Chef Morimoto Launches a New Dining Experience
MM by Morimoto is a new dining experience by legendary Iron Chef, Masaharu Morimoto. Sunday Afternoon partnered with Chef Morimoto and Montclair Hospitality on the brand identity, creating a unique monogram and design system inspired by Chef's Japanese roots and modern sensibility. The mark is embedded within every facet of the experience, from large scale wall graphics to small custom details.
Photographer & Director Lysa Thieffry joins Sunday Afternoon
Lysa is a graduate from Parsons New York, and has already held in-house creative positions such as digital Designer at US VOGUE and as Art Director at French VOGUE.
Breaking away from classical photography, she immerses myself in a digital and provocative-surreal world, focusing on saturated colors and high contrasts while drawing inspiration from K-pop and Kawaii culture.
Driven to explore femininity beyond traditional beauty to seek a new empowered generation and to empower them further.

Illustrator Be Fernandez joins the Sunday Afternoon roster
Be learned to draw with the comics that her father kept in his room, which is probably why her work is made up of bright colors, sharp contrasts, and a great expressiveness in her textures. Her inspiration comes from the contemporary city: she uses constant references to the current world and her interests, elements, people, places or words that call her attention and that she then turns later into images.
She joins the Sunday Afternoon roster for representation in the United States.

Sunday Afternoon recently teamed up with ESPN Films, Andscape and JamsBash on creative direction and title design for the new documentary “Breakin’ on the One” on HULU, about the iconic battle between Rocksteady Crew and Dynamic Rockers at Lincoln Center in 1981.
